In his long, distinguished and illustrious career, Gerald served as Senior Consultant to Lee Newspaper Group [ recent acquirer of Pulitzer Newspapers ], Senior Vice President / Editor in Chief, of the Houston Post [TX], Editor in Chief, Los Angeles Newspaper Group [CA], Publisher of New Britain Herald [CT.], Editor and Publisher , Knoxville Journal, [TN].
Prior Gerald served as Editor, Publisher and Regional Vice President of Gannett Newspapers West, Editor and Publisher of Tuscan Citizen [AZ] and and USA Today Regional Launch Team General Manager, Editor of the Kansas City Star [MO] and Assistant Editor, Ft. Worth Star-Telegram,[TX] – CapCities / ABC / Walt Disney Company..
Gerald is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalist “Hall Of Fame” and holds numerous journalism awards and is a graduate B.A. journalism from Texas A& M University.
